Mr. Whitehead has been selected by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyers for 201-2014. Mr. Whitehead accepted this invitation with great appreciation and excitement. Mr. Whitehead has also been recognized by the Idaho Trial Lawyers as a Certified Workmen’s Compensation Specialist since 1996. This specialization is a result of peer review, which includes both the judges and defense counsel input regarding qualifications. A historical review of the successful results in numerous workers compensation matters has allowed Mr. Whitehead to again successfully renewal of this certificate for another five years.

Mr. Whitehead started his practice in 1982 in Orofino, Idaho, trying both personal injury cases as well as successfully pursuing Idaho State Insurance Fund for injured workers. Mr. Whitehead then spent seven years in Lewiston, Idaho, specializing in wrongful death, personal injury, and Workmen’s Compensation matters.
Richard moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 1991 and is licensed to practice law in Idaho, Montana, and Washington. Until recently Mr. Whitehead had an office in Lewiston, Idaho. Mr. Whitehead performs claim settlement negotiations, arbitrations, mediations, small lawsuit resolution evaluations, administrative hearings, and jury trials to obtain fair and just results for his clients.
